Entry into force : this decree enters into force on July 1, 2018 Note : the text establishes the division of municipalities among the three areas of potential radon defined in article R. 1333-29 of the code of public health, on which information measures, evaluation, or measurement and measures for the prevention of radon exposure referred to in articles L. 1333-22 of the public health code, L. 125-5 of the environmental code and L. 4451-1 of the labour code are implemented by the relevant public.

The minister of State, minister for the ecological transition and solidarity, the minister of territorial cohesion, the minister of solidarity and of health and the minister of labour, having regard to directive 2013/59/Euratom of 5 December 2013 laying down basic safety standards for the health protection against the dangers arising from exposure to ionising radiation, and repealing directives 89/618/ Euratom, 90/641/ Euratom, 96/29/ Euratom, 97/43/ Euratom and 2003/122/ Euratom having regard to the code of public health, in particular its article L. 1333-22 and R. 1333-29 ; considering the environment code, in particular article L. 125-5 ; having regard to the labour code, in particular article L. 4451-1 ; Stop : Art. 1. – Pursuant to articles L. 1333-22 of the code of public health and L. 125-5 of the environmental code, the municipalities are divided between the three areas of potential radon defined in article R. 1333-29 of the public health code in accordance with the list below. This list shall be determined by reference to the boundaries of the administrative, from the official geographical code of the national Institute of statistics and economic studies), in force at the date of 1 January 2016.
